This explains what DriveGrid actually stores in your browser, and why. We've kept this to what's true today rather than a generic list of things a website might do — if something below stops applying, or something new is added, we'll update this page.
DriveGrid uses your browser's local storage (not traditional tracking cookies) for a small number of things, all of them functional:
DriveGrid does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking. There's nothing on the site monitoring your browsing for marketing purposes. If that changes in future, this page will change first, and we'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Because everything we currently store is functional rather than optional tracking, choosing “Reject non-essential” and “Accept all” currently result in the same thing — there isn't yet a separate category of non-essential storage to turn off. We've kept both options on the banner because that will change the moment we add anything that isn't essential, and we'd rather the choice already be there than bolt it on later.
A few services we rely on may set their own cookies or storage, outside of our control:
Most browsers let you block or delete stored data through their settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset your theme preference, or clear your saved searches, since those are the things this storage is used for.
We may update this page as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top.
